Woodland police officers arrested a teenager who stood on the hood of a patrol car, damaging the car, as part of an apparent social media stunt.

The Woodland Police Department said Wednesday the department received word the day before about a social media post of a 17-year-old boy who took a picture of himself standing on a police car’s hood.

Officers contacted the boy Wednesday, and he was booked into the Cowlitz County Juvenile Detention Center.
