WASHOUGAL — Washougal Schools Foundation’s 14th annual Stride for Education will start at 8 a.m. May 20 at Washougal High School’s Fishback Stadium, 1201 39th St., Washougal.
The event is a morning filled with healthy activities, including an adult 5K run/walk and elementary school runs for each class from kindergarten through fifth grade. It’s also the primary fundraiser for the foundation, which uses proceeds for classroom grants and college scholarships.
Pre-registration ends Thursday, and after that, participants can register the day of the event starting at 7:15 a.m. The 5K kicks off at 8 a.m. Registration for most of the racing events is $12. Register and find more information at www.washougalschoolsfoundation.org/stride.
