Six Boy Scouts from the Fort Vancouver District earned their Eagle rank during the month of March. The scouts combined for a total of 968 hours of community service toward earning their rank.
• Riley Abrams, 18, of Boy Scout Venture Crew 637 led an effort to install smoke and fire detectors at Big Fir Campground, and in homes for the elderly and those with low income. Riley is the son of Chris and Melanie Abrams and is a senior at Ridgefield High School.
• Ethan Cunningham, 18, and son of Cristy Shafer and Kyle Cunningham, led a project to paint a U.S. map with the state capitals on the Hearthwood Elementary playground. He is a senior at Evergreen High School and a member of Boy Scout Troop 328.
• Andrew Hall, 17, and son of Laura Stadler and Justin Hall, led a group in constructing six bat boxes for Lewisville Park. Andrew is a member of Boy Scout Troop 14 and is a senior at Skyview High School.
