Dedication ceremony for Camas’ newest park next week

CAMAS — Camas’ 14th park will host a dedication ceremony officially making it the newest park in the city.

The ceremony will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper’s View Park, 712 N.W. 27th Ave., Camas.

Mayor Scott Higgins and Parks Commissioner Randy Curtis will host the ceremony to honor the new park, which will feature a nature-themed play area with a slide, log tunnel, boulders and large stepping stones, two picnic tables with inlaid checkerboards and a seating wall and trail.
