Minnehaha — The Clark County Food Bank received a donation of $11,564.05 from Vancouver-area Fred Meyer stores.
The donations came from the coin boxes and associate giving programs. Hazel Dell Fred Meyer Associates presented a check to Clark County Food Bank representatives on April 17.
The Clark County Food Bank distributes 6 million pounds of food and 5 million meals a year, and partners with 34 local agencies to get food to those in need.
