Investigators at the Vancouver Police Department are trying to find a male suspect who snuck into the women’s locker room at the Firstenburg Community Center and snatched a towel off a woman changing her clothes.

The police said the young man entered the locker room, 700 N.E. 136th Ave., April 22, pulled off the woman’s towel, then fled on foot.

The victim told police she saw him standing and holding a cellphone in the hallway earlier, and thought he had the phone in his hand inside the locker room.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the young man, who fled through the back door of the community center.

The police described him as Asian, about 18 to 20 years old, with orange-colored hair and long, swooping bangs. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt.

The department asked anyone who can help identify the suspect to call the police tip line at 360-487-7399.

The department asked anyone who may have experienced a similar incident and did not report what happened, to call 911 and make a police report.
