• American Red Cross is seeking blood drive ambassadors to help with distributing snacks, water, blankets to donors and help welcome and register blood donors. Evening and weekend shifts are available.

• Boys & Girls Club of SW Washington is looking for Bookworm Buddies who will read to a club member one-on-one for an hour each week. Other volunteer opportunities are available to help in the art, game or homework rooms or help with the technology club. Shifts are weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m.

• C-Tran is in need of travel ambassadors who will assist seniors and people with disabilities to learn to use public transportation. Volunteers will accompany riders on the bus to and from their destinations and teach them how to use the schedules. Free bus pass provided during volunteer time.

• PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is seeking volunteers for their all volunteer-run gift shop.

• This-N-That Thrift Store seeks volunteers to help in their sorting room processing donations, greeters and security monitors.

• West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is in need of volunteers who love dogs and cats to help with a number of tasks including kennel cleaning, socialization for the animals, or office help.
