Students hear bevy of options for post-high school life

Washougal — Washougal High School students learned about a variety of future options on Feb. 28, when the school hosted its Post High School Options Fair. The students heard presentations from organizations representing college admissions, internships, trades, apprenticeships, local scholarships and summer employment. The most popular speakers were representatives from Clark College and Washington State University admissions and from all branches of the military, said Lisa Leonard, a career specialist at the school, in a release from the district. The fair was the conclusion of Career and Technical Education Month at the school.
