Trade association donates grant to cat shelter

Walnut Grove — The Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association chose Furry Friends as the recipient of the association’s January “Casual for a Cause” collection. The group raised $226 to go toward the care and feeding of the cats. Furry Friends is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, no-kill cat rescue in Vancouver, which has been in operation since 1999.
