Caleb Sagert, a sophomore at Academy Northwest, also served as a page for the state Senate in Olympia, sponsored by Sen. Lynda Wilson, R-Vancouver. He is the son of Trent and Erika Sagert of Vancouver.

Student pages spend a week working in the legislature, which includes delivering documents and messages, attending page school to learn about parliamentary procedure and the legislative process, drafting their own bills, and engaging in a mock session.
