Camas — Janus Youth Programs received a $5,000 grant from the Camas Washougal Community Chest to support The Oak Grove and Oak Bridge Youth Shelters in the Camas-Washougal area.

“The Oaks” programs serve runaway, homeless and at-risk youth with shelter, food, clothing and resource connections.

Janus Youth, which has operated community-based programs in Oregon and Washington since 1972, has a network of 40 programs serving more than 6,000 children, youth and families each year. Services are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week through self-referral, schools, hospitals, juvenile courts, families or other professionals who work with youth.
