Vancouver — The Oregon Department of Transportation plans to close sidewalks on both spans of the Interstate 5 Bridge for one day each this week.
The southbound span sidewalk will close from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. The northbound span sidewalk with close from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
One sidewalk will remain open at all times.
Closing the walkways will allow crews to upgrade electrical equipment on the bridge and work on the drawbridge.
