Eagle Scouts

The Fort Vancouver District of Boy Scouts of America announced scouts who passed their Eagle Scout boards of review in April and May and advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout.

Jacob Stephen Neil of Boy Scout Venture Crew 637, a senior at Ridgefield High School, led a project over 80 volunteer hours to construct a vegetable wash and processing table at the 78th Street Heritage Farm. Jacob, 18, is the son of Alisa and David Neil.

Erik Stephen Reschke, 18, and a senior at Skyview High School, led a group over 150 volunteer hours to construct a set of eight “big band stands” benefiting his school’s jazz band program. Erik is the son of Steve and Beverly Reschke and is a member of Boy Scout Venture Crew 336.

Kyler Clary, 18, and a senior at Prairie High School and Running Start at College is a member of Boy Scout Venture Crew 315. For his project, he led a group of volunteers in building a 400-foot fence for the Pioneer Cemetery. Kyler is the son of Tycilee and Sean Walker and John and Brigit Clary.

Noah Westerberg, 18, of Boy Scout Troop 3420 led a group of volunteers over 170 hours in building a fire pit for the Elks Lodge. Noah is the son of Warren and Nina Westerberg and is a senior at La Center High School.

Spencer Crabb, 18, a senior at Columbia River High School, is the son of Peter and Jody Crabb and a member of Boy Scout Troop 310. For his project, Spencer led a group of volunteers over 120 hours in building and installing Free Little Libraries.

Justin Smith, 14, an eighth grader at Tukes Valley Middle School, led a group of volunteers collecting supplies for Share House. Justin is the son of Larry and Sherry Smith and he is a member of Boy Scout Varsity 371.
