Vancouver – Vancouver Run, Grub and Chug Club and Heathen Brewing have joined forces to create “Trash Dash,” a run/walk event where participants will pick up trash along the way.
The event will be held at 9:45 a.m. July 22 at Heathen’s Feral Public House, 1109 Washington St., Vancouver.
During the event, participants in teams of two to three will collect trash in assigned areas of west Vancouver in 80 minutes. At the end, everyone will reconvene to dispose of the garbage and celebrate at Feral Public House.
Routes will be determined by teams, but they’re expected to range between a 5K and a 10K.
