Clark College will welcome four educators to its leadership team.
Loretta Capeheart, who has been a faculty member at the University of Idaho and Northeastern Illinois University, was appointed associate vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion. Most recently, she worked at the Portland Police Bureau as an analyst and acting equity and diversity manager.
Judith Hernández Chapar was appointed director of the Teaching and Learning Center. She is finishing a fellowship at San Diego State University, and worked at both South Puget Sound Community College and at Lower Columbia College.
Jim Wilkins-Luton was appointed dean of transitional studies, English, communications and humanities. He has worked at Clark College since 2000 teaching English classes.
