You ask and we investigate and report. That’s how it works when you submit questions to Clark Asks, an effort we recently launched to better involve you in our newsgathering and storytelling.

Saturday’s paper featured work by reporter Tom Vogt, who wrote “The Plains Explained.” Vogt dug through historical records to answer the question “Where do the names ‘Mill Plain’ and ‘Fourth Plain’ come from? What happened to First, Second and Third Plain?”

Now we’d like to ask you to help us pick which reader question to tackle next by voting for one of the three questions below in the box accompanying this story:

• The landing at Evergreen retail development in east Vancouver: when can we expect the Bridgeport Village-style complex to break ground?

• Just south of Northeast 179th Street near Northeast 81st Avenue there is a round white building in a field. What is it? Google Maps says it is a nightclub.

• What outdoor activities are available in Clark County for people in a wheelchair? Such as camping, hiking, swimming and exploring.

The voting round ends Saturday, and then we’ll dig in and report back with some answers.

While you’re at it, submit your own question online in the box accompanying this story or go to columbian.com/clarkasks. Your story could be next.
