Heading into Flag Day on Wednesday, Davidson & Associates Insurance is offering an American flag exchange program for the public.

Today and Friday, people can pick up a free new 3-by-5-foot flag at the Davidson office, 610 Esther St., Suite 101, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while supplies last.

People also can drop off an old flag.

Last year, more than 230 old flags were turned over to the Fort Vancouver District Boy Scouts of America for a proper retirement ceremony.

The company also is a sponsor of Wednesday’s observance at the Vancouver Barracks Parade Ground, formally called Fort Vancouver National Trust Flag Day Celebration presented by Davidson Insurance representing Pemco Insurance.

For information, contact Davidson & Associates at 360-514-9550.
