Washougal — The Washougal Schools Foundation’s 14th annual Stride for Education event saw a record turnout, with 631 participants raising $17,000 to fund classroom grants and scholarships in the district. The event is a morning filled with exercise, including an adult 5K run/walk and elementary school runs for kindergartners through fifth-graders.
