Pints for pints. Bloodworks Northwest is giving people who donate blood a pint of Snoqualmie Ice Cream.

Bloodworks will give out 5,000 pints of ice cream to donors who register to give at a Bloodworks center during the “Good Things Come in Pints” campaign Monday to June 18. The Bloodworks Vancouver Donor Center, 9320 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Suite 100, is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Anyone who registers during that week will receive a voucher for a free pint of ice cream, while supplies last. To register, visit the Bloodworks website, schedule.bloodworksnw.org, or call 800-398-7888.

“One blood donation equals about a pint, and can save up to three lives,” Bloodworks donor engagement manager Joe Ferrara said in a news release. “Whether you’re saving lives by donating a pint of blood, or enjoying a pint of Snoqualmie Ice Cream, we’re thrilled to show the community good things truly do come in pints.”
