A Woodland woman was killed in an overnight rollover crash south of Kalama.

The crash, reported at 12:02 a.m. Friday, occurred when Ashley Seda, 36, was driving a maroon 2005 Toyota 4Runner SUV north on Interstate 5 and attempted to take Exit 27 to Todd Road, 3 miles south of Kalama, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Seda drove onto the shoulder and lost control, rolling the vehicle several times before it came to rest on its top, the state patrol reported. Police said that Seda was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that the crash was caused by speed, though they are investigating whether alcohol or drugs were involved.
