Woodland – Students from Woodland Public Schools who are 18 and younger can receive free meals at Woodland Middle School throughout the summer, the district announced Thursday. The meals come from the district’s sponsorship of the Simplified Summer Food Program for Children.

Starting on June 26, children can get breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every day for free at Woodland Middle School commons, 755 Park St., Woodland. The program will be closed July 4. Parents and adults can also eat at those times, with breakfast costing $2.50 and lunch going for $3.50.

For more information, contact Stacy Brown, business manager for the district, at 360-841-2715 or email brownst@woodlandschools.org.
