Minor League baseball update No. 6 on Clark County athletes through games of July 22, 2017:

Triple-A

Jeff Ames (Skyview HS), Durham Bulls (International League, Tampa Bay Rays)
Position: RHP
Season stats: 0-1, 4.40 ERA, 32 games, 2/2 saves/opportunities, 45.0 IP, 56 Ks, 29 BB, 1.53 WHIP
Recent highlights: Assigned back to Durham from Hudson Valley in a “paper” move only. He actually never left Durham, but rosters had to be shuffled. Pitched 2.2 innings last week with six earned runs.

Double-A

Taylor Ard (Prairie HS), Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Southern League, Miami Marlins)
