High school students participate in national business conference

Orchards — Heritage High School Future Business Leaders of America members Victoria Thornton and Elvia Santos-Dominguez recently attended the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif. During the opening session, Thornton was recognized as Washington’s “Who’s Who in FBLA” recipient for this year. The two competed in the Partnership with Business Project against 90 teams from around the country. Thornton and Santos-Dominguez finished 10th in the country for their presentation on the Heritage chapter’s Financial Reality Fair in partnership with iQ Credit Union.
