Officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in the theft of a purse from a Vancouver home.

The residential burglary happened on the afternoon of July 5 in the 14900 block of Southeast Rivercrest Drive, according to Fox 12 News in Portland.

Dawn Rasmussen told police the burglars broke into the home she was housesitting while she was in the backyard with her son, and the suspects stole the woman’s purse and a set of keys, the TV station reported.

Shortly thereafter, unauthorized charges were made on the victim’s credit card, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Police have released images captured by a surveillance camera that show the male and female who used the credit card.

Anyone with information on the identities of either or both suspects is asked to contact Detective Clesson Werner at clesson.werner@cityofvancouver.us.
