Officials are still seeking to notify the family of a 31-year-old man who died early Sunday after being struck by a vehicle on Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said the man’s family lives outside of the United States. She said the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office has been trying to locate them.

The man was struck in the 4200 block of Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard and was not in the crosswalk, according to Kapp.

The 35-year-old driver whose vehicle struck the man was obeying the speed limit, according to a news release from Vancouver police. The driver, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, police said.
