A 31-year-old pedestrian died early Sunday after a collision with a vehicle in the 4200 block of Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard.
Vancouver police responded and found the pedestrian dead at the scene. His name was not released pending notification of his family.
So far, it appears and alcohol were not involved. It also appears the 35-year-old driver was obeying the speed limit, according to a news release from Vancouver police. The driver, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, police said.
Fourth Plain was shut down from Falk Road to Caples Road for the investigation.
