The Washington State University Clark County Extension is looking for volunteers who would like to help show fair attendees about proper hand-washing.

Volunteers will help in the extension’s Germ City, leading people through the exhibit and instructing them about how to wash their hands. Hand-washing is not only an important skill, but it’s critical to maintaining a healthy and germ-free lifestyle, according to the extension.

Volunteers will work four-hour shifts and will receive free fair entrance and parking passes. The Clark County Fair runs Aug. 4 to 13.

Those interested in volunteering can contact the WSU Extension office, 360-397-6060, ext. zero.
