• Battle Ground Health Care seeks volunteer phlebotomists to obtain and prepare specimens for analysis and perform screen tests. Volunteer dental hygienists are also needed at the free clinic.
• City of Vancouver — Parks and Recreation/Firstenberg Center is looking for front-desk assistants to provide general information, answer phones, and check out recreation equipment.
• Clark County Food Bank has many volunteer opportunities. Food sorters are needed, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays; food repackers are needed, 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays. Individuals and groups are welcome.
• Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration – Region 3 seeks mentors to call, visit and write letters as often as possible to youth in the juvenile justice system. An intern for the mentor program is needed to create presentations and flyers, recruit volunteers, pursue grant and donation opportunities, and maintain the database.
• Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center is looking for hospital assistants for a large variety of positions.
