Minor League baseball update No. 3 on Clark County athletes through games of July 1, 2017:

Triple-A

Jeff Ames (Skyview HS), Durham Bulls (International League, Tampa Bay Rays)
Position: RHP
Season stats: 0-1, 3.60 ERA, 27 games, 2/2 saves/opportunities, 40.0 IP, 50 Ks, 25 BB, 1.33 WHIP
Recent highlights: After a rough outing on June 25, came back with two solid relief appearances.

Double-A

Taylor Ard (Prairie HS), Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Southern League, Miami Marlins)
Position: 1B
Season stats: 75 games, .235 BA, 10 2B, 7 HR, 29 RBI, .311 OBP, .366 SLG
Recent highlights: Hit a two-run home run in a 2-1 win against Mobile on June 30. Followed that up by going 2 for 4 with an RBI double as DH in a 6-4 win over Mobile on July 1.

Clint Coulter (Union HS), Biloxi Shuckers (Southern League, Milwaukee Brewers)
Position: OF

Recent highlights: Hit a two-run home run in a 5-2 win at Birmingham on June 30.
