Boys basketball: Union 68, Battle Ground 49

It must be crunch time in the basketball season. Cameron Cranston is doing Cameron Cranston things.

Cranston, the reigning All-Region player of the year, scored 39 points as Union pulled away from Battle Ground to win the outright championship in the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League.

The Titans had already clinched at least a tie for the league title. Now they have it all to themselves.

Cranston made three 3-pointers in his huge night.

Zach Reznick added 11 points and Tyler Combs finished with 10 for the Titans.

Daelon Floy had 19 points to lead Battle Ground. The Tigers were playing their seventh game in 10 days.
