Don’t miss the talent performing at the 55th annual Clark College Jazz Festival. The high school jazz ensembles from Washington and Oregon in the “AAA” and “AAAA” categories will compete from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today during the preliminary rounds. The American Music Program, led by Thara Memory, will perform at 5:40 p.m. before the finals competition and awards presentation, including this year’s Sweepstakes Band. It all takes place at Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way Vancouver. Join the Denton Delinquents as they live shadowcast the cult movie “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” at 10 tonight at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., Vancouver. Costumes are encouraged. Ready your best chili recipe for the Ridgefield First Saturday Tailgate Party, a day of family football and a community chili challenge. Home cooks, barbecue masters and chefs can take part, with the best pot of chili winning prizes and bragging rights. PDX Bridge Festival will celebrate the Interstate Bridge’s centennial anniversary with a party, complete with a pictorial exhibit, historic significance, live music, snacks, artists and a big birthday cake from 3 to 6 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Red Lion Hotel on the River — Jantzen Beach, 909 N. Vancouver Lake Half Marathon has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Feb. 26, hosted by the Clark County Running Club. This a winter run will test participants on an out-and-back course along Vancouver Lake from Vancouver Lake Regional Park, 6801 N.W. Lower River Road. All proceeds benefit the running club’s scholarship fund for student-athletes. The race is limited to 475 entries.
