Girls basketball: Skyview 72, Battle Ground 50

Hanna Van Nortwick hit four 3-pointers and scored 31 points to lead the Storm in their first game since losing Ashlee Comastro to injury.

Comastro, the 2016 All-Region player of the year, broke a bone in her foot on Monday and is done for the season.

Skyview took control with a 24-9 edge in the second quarter. Riley Friauf added 18 points and Sydney Friauf had 13.

Kelly Poteet had 18 points and eight rebounds for Battle Ground. Kayla Cruz added seven steals.
