Playing its second game in two nights, Seton Catholic clamped down on defense for a Trico League win.
After a first half that ended 15-15, the Cougars (8-2, 5-1) allowed just three points in the third quarter.
“We were a little on the tired side,” Seton coach Phil Kent said. “King’s Way did a great job. They were ready to play. The biggest thing for us, we outrebounded them in the second half.”
Nami Nsubuga led Seton Catholic with 17 rebounds. Amy Frazier was the high scorer with nine points.
MacKenzie Ellertson scored 16 points to lead King’s Way (3-7, 0-4).
