Police were unable to locate a man who attempted to rob an IQ Credit Union branch Thursday afternoon.
The robbery was reported just after 5:30 p.m., from the credit union branch at 615 N.E. Chkalov Drive, according to emergency dispatch records.
Vancouver police Sgt. Mike Davis said a man entered the credit union and presented a teller with a “vague note.” The man left empty-handed.
Officers, with the help of a police dog, attempted to track the man down, but were unsuccessful, Davis said.
