Boys basketball: La Center 68, Seton Catholic 52

Jake Wise kept getting good position inside, and he kept putting the ball in the basket Wednesday night.

All night.

Wise made 13 of 18 shots and tied a career high with 34 points, leading La Center to a key victory in Trico League boys basketball.

Seton Catholic led by four after the first quarter, but La Center got defensive from there, holding the Cougars to seven second-quarter points.

Wise also grabbed 14 rebounds.

Matt Baher also had a double-double for La Center with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Delano Morgan led Seton Catholic with 19 points. Isaiah Parker added 12 points, and Tyler Davis scored 10.
