Sea Mar Community Health Centers plans to build a six-story building with offices and 70 apartments in central Vancouver.
The first floor would house general and dental offices while the other five floors would offer 70 affordable one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, according to a preliminary application submitted to the city earlier this month. Sea Mar’s existing office building at 7803 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. would be razed to make way for the new building. The applications says there would be 94 parking spaces and that some tenants would probably take advantage of the bus stop in front of the property.
Bellevue-based Bazan Architects was listed as the applicant for the project. Other multifamily complexes are planned for the Fourth Plain corridor. The 49-unit Isabella Court at 3112 N.E. 62nd Ave. is the only one that’s complete.
