Health Worker Report

The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In October, the Nursing Assistant Program charged registered nursing assistant Emilie Sue Anne Miller with unprofessional conduct and immediately suspended her credential. After finding that Miller neglected a vulnerable adult, the state Department of Social and Health Services will not allow her to be employed in caring for or having unsupervised access to vulnerable adults.

In November, the secretary of health ended conditions on the credential of massage practitioner Karol N. Rich.

In November, the Nursing Commission ended probation for registered nurse Amber R. Jordan.
