Tre Ratcliff and teammates had quality shooting nights, leading the Plainsmen to a win over a rival.
Ratcliff made 7 of 13 from the floor, including a 3-pointer, and finished with 21 points.
John Hansberry added 12 points on 6 for 11 shooting, and Brock Schoene was 5 for 6 for 12 points.
Evergreen had a 12-point lead at the half.
Mountain View’s Troy Pacheco made a couple 3-pointers in the third quarter to get the Thunder closer. Evergreen called timeout and responded with a strong end to the period.
Cameron Henderson led Mountain View with 19 points. Pacheco finished with 15 and Alex Bailey added 10.
Schoene had a double-double for Evergreen with 13 rebounds to go with his 12 points.
Jeremy Harju also found double figures in scoring, recording 13 for the Plainsmen.
