Skyview sets national money collection record

Felida — Skyview High School students raised $9,730.62 during the holiday season by bell-ringing for the Salvation Army. It’s a national high school record, according to Vancouver Public Schools.

The students collected money outside of the Fred Meyer Salmon Creek, 800 N.E. Tenney Road, Vancouver.

The Skyview girls’ and boys’ basketball teams also joined in and raised an additional $2,879.59, bringing the school’s total to $12,610.21.
