Clark College on Wednesday announced the three recipients of the 2017 Iris Awards, a program honoring women in leadership, philanthropy and community service in Southwest Washington.
The awards will be given to Deena Pierott, founder of nonprofit iUrban Teen and president of Mosaic Blueprint; Temple Lentz, host of “Hello Vancouver!” and former Parks Foundation executive director; and Jody Campbell, director of community partnerships for The Columbian.
A fourth award, sponsored by local political action committee H-RoC, will honor a woman who has promoted civil discourse and collaboration. The recipient of that award, and the Legacy Award for a previous honoree, will be announced later.
The awards reception begins at 5:30 p.m. on March 8. The event is open to the public. Tickets are on sale through the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce’s website. The cost is $35 per person or $310 for an eight-seat table.
