Mollie Doyle had 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Thunder got contributions from throughout the lineup to win their opener in the 3A bi-district tournament in Lacey.
“We just created a lot of choas from them,” Mountain View coach Dave McIntosh said. “Mollie stepped up big, and we had a lot of role players make contributions. It was a complete team effort.”
Katie Hurst added 14 points and Eva Winsheimer had 11 points and six rebounds.
Mountain View will face the Bethel-Shelton winner in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
