Students build creativity with Women in Construction

East Vancouver — Crestline Elementary School students participated in the Block Kids Building Competition, which was sponsored by the National Association of Women in Construction. The competition introduces students to the construction industry to create awareness of the profession and promote jobs in the industry. Students could use blocks, string, rocks, foil and poster board to create structures. Winning projects were selected by judges from the association, and those students earned award certificates and a gift card.
