Area Rotarians will deliver pre-purchased red roses throughout the area March 23 while raising funds for their various charitable programs.
“Rotary Rose Day has grown over the decades to become a kind of holiday,” Rotary’s Cheree Nygard said through a press release. “The simple gift of a dozen long stem roses makes everyone happy and gives people something to look forward to.”
Roses may be ordered starting immediately through the Rotary Rose Day website, www.rotaryrosesales.com.
Proceeds from the sale benefit numerous Rotary programs helping families and improving parks as well as funding scholarships and grants.
