Deadlines are approaching for the 2017 General George C. Marshall Awards. Nomination packets for the youth award must be received by Feb. 15, and the deadline for the adult award is Feb. 17.

The Marshall Leadership Awards annually recognize one Clark County young adult professional and one high school senior who demonstrate the leadership and public service characteristics of Gen. George C. Marshall.

Nomination forms are available online at fortvan.org/marshall and at the Trust’s offices at the O.O. Howard House, 750 Anderson St., Vancouver.

The 2017 award recipients will be honored at a ceremony on March 22 at Providence Academy.

Nominees for the adult leadership award must be residents of Clark County 35 or younger with a four-year college degree.

Youth nominees must be Clark County residents enrolled in high school or home-schooled at the 12th-grade level.
