E-Waste event planned at Cascadia Tech

Vancouver – Information technology students at Cascadia Tech, formerly the Clark County Skills Center, will host an annual electronic waste recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday Feb. 24, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday Feb. 25. The recycling events will be held at Cascadia Tech’s facility at 12200 N.E. 28th St. Vancouver.

All computers and cellular phones are accepted. Glass televisions, computer monitors or appliances are not accepted.

The materials will either be used by students or recycled in environmentally friendly ways.
