The Clark College Foundation won two regional awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
CASE recognized the foundation with a silver award for “The Universe Speaks,” a story published in the summer 2016 edition of Partners magazine.
The article detailed the story of Cody Messick, a Clark College alumnus on a scientific team that helped discover the sound of black holes colliding more than a billion years ago.
The foundation also received a bronze award for “The Impact of Giving to Clark College Foundation: A Report for the John A. and Helen M. Cartales Foundation,” a fundraising booklet.
