Volunteers pack bags for guests at Share holiday party

ORCHARDS — Employees from Platinum Pets volunteered at Share to pack bags to be distributed during Share’s annual holiday party. The bags included daily items like toothbrushes, soap and hats. They also packed backpacks for kids with plush pets, crayons and coloring books. The Platinum Pets employees, along with volunteers from KMR Group Foundation, packed 900 bags for adults and kids. “Putting these bags together is such a simple gesture, but one that means so much to the people who will receive them,” Melissa Pedraza, Platinum Pets general manager, said in a release from the company. “We’re happy to be part of this effort to give back to the community.”
