Anonymous donor to match gifts for new Washougal library

WASHOUGAL — A local donor has issued a $1,000 challenge grant for anyone donating to the Washougal Library Building Fund, the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation announced recently. The donor, who asked to remain anonymous, is hopeful the matching challenge will motivate others to donate to the fund to build a new library in the city. The Friends of the Washougal Library and the foundation have been working with local donors, businesses and community leaders to raise money for years. The matching challenge runs until Sunday.
