A 40-year-old woman from Vancouver was injured Tuesday in a crash on Interstate 5 near Castle Rock, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The patrol said the crash happened shortly after 10 a.m., according to a report by the patrol.

The report said Galina Aleksandrov was driving a 2006 Toyota minivan north on I-5 near Milepost 49 when its passenger-side rear tire blew out, according to the report.

“The driver steered to the left where the vehicle sunk into the soft shoulder and onto the median where it rolled over onto its side,” the report said.

Aleksandrov was transported to the PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview as a result of the crash.

The hospital said she was treated and released.

The patrol noted in the report that drugs and alcohol were not believed to be a factor.
