Of course his team would like to win every game. But with a young team that returns just one starter, Seton Catholic coach Will Ephraim’s focus isn’t just on wins and losses.
“It’s all about the experience,” Ephraim said. “I want the girls to have fun, but also I want them to learn how to compete.”
Seton Catholic is coming off its best season in the program’s seven years. Ephraim credited that to last year’s veteran group learning how to play together.
He hopes to build that same foundation with this season’s young squad.
“We’re more athletic than last year, but young and inexperienced,” he said. “By the time the league season starts, I want that athleticism to show.”
